Formulas for Dogs with Fears, Phobias, and Panic

FORMULA PROFILE

Fear & Suspicion was developed for fearful, defensive dogs who experience suspicion, mistrust, and/or nervous anxiety, especially when under stress. I developed this formula in 1994, and it is still one of my most frequently used formulas, typically used for fear and fear aggression. Fear & Suspicion can be very helpful for dogs who are fearful and suspicious in general, but is also very useful for dogs who are fine in everyday circumstances, but who become overwhelmed and defensive in stressful situations, such as boarding, moving, meeting new people, starting new training regimens, etc.

FORMULA PROFILE

Very Scary Things is another of my very long-standing formulas, developed for dogs with moderate to severe fear and anxiety related to specific triggers, including fears related to traumatic events.  This is for the dog who becomes severely anxious, even to the point of shaking, when they encounter their own "very scary thing". Very Scary Things has been highly successful remedy for fear of thunderstorms and fireworks, as well as any concrete, specific fears (e.g. fear of beards, glasses, men in hats, baby strollers, canes and sticks, agility teeters, other dogs, etc.).

FORMULA PROFILE

Is your dog prone to panic attacks? Does he "lose it" and react excessively? Or does he freeze in place when stressed, his darting eyes telling you he'd like to be anywhere but here? Poise formula was developed to assist dogs who exhibit fear and anxiety accompanied by terror, panic, and/or panic attacks. Poise has proven to be extremely useful to reduce fear and panic, and improve self control in strongly reactive dogs. It can also be a very helpful aid in separation anxiety cases where the behavior is marked by panic and loss of control.

Does your dog suffer from separation anxiety? I'll Be Back formula addresses this difficult problem from several important perspectives. Moderation formula helps dogs who, by nature or circumstance, exhibit overbearing, domineering personality traits, quick to anger or act out if "their rules" are broken. Over-Protective formula, formerly "Perspective". Some dogs take their role as protector a bit too seriously, becoming controlling of their owners, possessive of them and over-concerned for their safety. Over-Protective formula helps the continually "on duty" dog to take an emotional step back. It is most helpful when used as part of a behavior modification program that helps the dog develop a more secure and stable relationship with the owner. Consider Over-Protective formula for cases of protective and possessive aggression, as well as separation anxiety cases where stress and destructiveness is brought on by anxiety for the owner.

Dominance & Territoriality formula is for the dog that is insistent on driving the behaviors of those around it. For the bullying, posturing, challenging, over-assertive alpha type dogs that must constantly try to reinforce their position. This formula is for the confident dog who is very in-control of his actions, who thinks s/he should be in control of everyone else's, too. FORMULA PROFILE

Hyper-Drive formula improves control, increases patience, and heightens the ability to be calmly, thoughtfully, self-contained and tune out outside distractions.
